I got into Numerology in a funny way. It was the year 2015 and it started with the odd experience of seeing 11:11 on the clock all the time. There was also a weird experience that expanded my curiosity about numbers: I was coloring mandalas on a terrace when I noticed an intermittent car horn honking sound in the distant background. There is nothing strange about cars honking around, but my attention got caught by it because the sound seemed to occur in exact intervals of time. So I did a brief experiment and I started creating timestamps, one for each emerging sound. The result is visible in the picture below.

From 11:15 to 12:00, I registered the same sound every four minutes. At the time I didn’t think about it, but between 11:11 and 11:15 there is also a four-minute interval. What are the odds? If you’re a mathematician, let me know. Anyhow, that’s how I started to wonder more about numbers and their meaning. The Life Path number is just one of the different aspects of numerology that I stumbled upon and which I bring now to you in this blog post.
The Life Path number is calculated with the full birth date of a person. It is said to be the most important number in a numerology chart as it describes the nature of someone’s life journey and the core of his or her personality. The Life Path number ranges from 1 to 9. This means we need to break down the numbers when they are double digits. We add them until we end up with a single digit.
For instance, my Life Path number is Six. What does that mean? According to numerology, a Life Path number 6 represents someone who is nurturing and who has a natural tendency to take care of others. Number six also represents someone who isn’t able to be comfortable while others are suffering. With strong parenting instincts, people with a six in their life path number value home and family, and they like to make their space comfortable, loving, and safe.
In relationships, they oscillate between being very critical and ‘blind’, meaning that they either have very high standards regarding their relationships or that they may put people on such high pedestals that they even refuse to see their human flaws. Sixes are usually good teachers, caretakers, and compassionate leaders. Self-care is a must for their health and wellbeing.

I am no. 9 so will take a look at what that means. I love this. I always seem to look at my clock in the morning at 7.12. It’s always interesting when you spot the same numbers. xx

My most common clock reading is 9:11…I didn’t realize there was a significance but do find it odd each time it happens

It seems fitting based on what I perceive – wish I could be naturally more balanced as number 9, haha. I used to consult this blog a lot to find the meaning of the numbers. It’s worth what it’s worth since it depends a lot on what people believe in too: http://sacredscribesangelnumbers.blogspot.com/p/index-numbers.html I haven’t looked up for numbers in a long while but in old times it was nice to read the descriptions since they always had something positive on it – let’s say it was a bit like doing affirmations xx

I read your post through before finding out mine, and related to 6 so much – and guess what! I was a 6 too. This is great!

I have to say I just read the first few lines of number 5 to check and in my head, I was like ‘Oh this sounds so like Mya’, haha. Did you find resonance or it’s very different from your self-perception?

It’s SO me that it’s creepy!!! I knew you would get it…😩😢😧🤔😬😊 I went through every emotion reading it and my oldest son, Blair, is also a 5! Crazy, but it makes perfect sense.

This was fun and interesting! I’m a 9 – similar to a 6 apparently 😊 I’m married to a 3, which is apparently compatible. 9’s are leaders! I never thought of myself that way, but I’m not good with authority, so maybe it’s true!? Yes, bored easily! I love all this, and it definitely resonates: “You are also an extremely generous soul, and care deeply and passionately about those less fortunate than yourself. You are always willing to give parts of yourself away to help others. It is very important that you choose a path in life that takes advantage of your giving, humanitarian spirit, and not one that focuses on materialism. ”
But apparently 9 is the completion number – I’m supposed to be good at finishing things! Um , no – maybe changing this might help me get unstuck?
On finding fulfilment: “Number Nines have a very strong sense of self, and an even stronger sense of purpose in the world, and will be most fulfilled when they can dedicate themselves to their passion for making the world a better place. This desire for improvement in the world is your greatest source of strength. Don’t underestimate the power it can have in improving you, as well as the world. Humanitarianism brings out the best in you, and prevents you from sliding into a pit of hostility, arrogance, or lack of integrity. Without it, you can become a horribly embittered person who has difficulty seeing the good in the world – completely antithetical to your natural state!” I can see that! When I lose faith in the goodness of others, it tears me apart and crumbles my resolve. My writing is one of the places I try to achieve all this 😊
Thank you for this! I’m going to print this out, because I can see where these things break down for me, everything breaks down. This is very helpful! 😊

I can see a clear 9 on you 😉 It’s good that you have the balance that 6ers don’t – it’s funny because I had felt that before! There is more grounding energy on you 😊 What is not yet fully developed can definitely change your path – talking about finishing things. You have the potential, now the awareness, next is just practice ❤

Thank you 😁 Unfortunately I need to work on that balance aspect too. You’ve really given me some strong direction here 😁

So interesting! I’ve never looked into numerology before, but am definitely open to it, since nothing in this world is as it seems 🙂 I appear to be a 4: down-to-earth, moral, strong work ethic and almost immune to marketing and advertisements- that last part is definitely true. It was nice to read this, as for a long time now I’ve been doubting my work ethic, which was so solid until a couple of years ago. Since I started blogging (apparently a good past-time for 4s), it seems to be returning. Thanks for the insight Vanessa- hope you enjoy your further explorations with numerology ♡

Ah, I can see the 4 in you too! It’s interesting because comparing everyone’s results I can see the differences and how the results mirror those differences. I definitely perceive you as someone down-to-earth, very solid, but with all elements in communion – air, for example, associated with openness, is also present in your attitude. And fire. And water. We all need a 4 in our lives! 😊

Right?! It’s so interesting. Nothing is black and white, and all elements exist within us. They just combine and shine in different moments ☺︎

I am a 7. Honestly, I have stayed away from numerology because I had a terrible reading from someone who came highly recommended.
I went back to it today and found some insights. I think anything we can use to reflect on ourselves is a good thing.

I like 7s! It sucks when we’re unlucky with those things. It’s like going to a famous therapist hoping he/she’s very good and then it turns out it’s not a good match for us… I agree with you, anything that helps us reflect, even if on little things, it’s already a win!
