For today’s lunch I made this gorgeous and fresh salad which I called “The 4 Color Raw Salad”, since its colours are mainly white, red, green and orange.
Using as much colour as you can in your meals is one of the greatest and most important principles of a raw / organic / natural diet, so definitely give it a try or be creative and add even more colours to your salad.
Here is what you will need for this salad:
- 1/4 of a cucumber
- 2 slices of mango
- 1 tomato
- 3 small radishes
- a bunch of green leafs (choose your favourite)
- half a lime (for seasoning)
- nuts (optional)
First of all, wash all your vegetables carefully. Then set your green leafs in the bottom of a bowl. Peel your cucumber and cut it in cubes. Do the same for your mango, tomato and radishes. Put them all in your bowl and season your salad with half of a lime juice. Gently mix all your ingredients.
If you would like to add some extra crunchy feeling to your salad just sprinkle some nuts in it.
