Yandra Tea Company offers you a mindful connection to the Earth and a family’s secret recipe. Curious? I was too, especially after trying out their Rose Syrup and learning how roses taste like.
Based on the river banks of the Danube in the South East of Romania, Yandra values and respects nature while also crafting luxurious products in their farm. Their secret ingredient is Damask rose buds which are obtained from their own roses. Besides offering high quality teas, Yandra has also introduced a new Rose Syrup in the market which is 100% natural and vegan friendly. As if all this wasn’t enough to convince me, Yandra has not only the concern of building sustainable partnerships, but also the organisational culture of giving back to the community as a way to counteract poverty and inequality.
In a collaboration with thewellbeingblogger.com, Yandra kindly surprised us with one of their best products, the Rose Syrup, which is as they say handcrafted with love. Yandra’s Rose Syrup comes in a beautiful 440ml bottle and it’s a rich, deep-coloured syrup. Contrary to what someone may think, the beautiful colour of this syrup is 100% natural, meaning that there is literally no weird stuff inside, as Yandra Tea Company likes to state. Although the recipe is a family secret, the list of ingredients contains the following:
- Damask rose petals,
- Water, and a
- Dash of lemon
I was honestly quite excited to try this syrup as I had never tried something similar. Not even Rose Tea while I was living in England. I basically didn’t know how roses would taste like. Now that I know, I can assure you that you are definitely missing out if, like me, you haven’t tried it yet. Besides giving you a particular taste, another good thing about this syrup is that it is a good and natural option to any sweetener. You can use it on drinks such as tea and milk, but also other more festive drinks such as sparklings and cocktails. I decided to try it out on three different occasions: milk, tea, and dessert.
Making Milk More Interesting
The first time I used Yandra’s Rose Syrup, I decided to put on milk. Besides making it sweeter, the syrup also gives you flavour, being then a good option for people who don’t really like much drinking regular milk.
Tea With A Twist
The second way I used Yandra’s Rose Syrup was on a cup of tea I had during my afternoon break. One and a half tea spoon of syrup was enough to feel all the love.
Adding A Final Touch To Your Dessert
Lastly but not least, I added Yandra’s Rose Syrup as a toping of one of our desserts. All I can say is that I hope to have the same dessert very soon so I can use the syrup again. Other than that, I will really only invite you having a look at the picture below!
Now, stay tuned because I already know a fourth way I’m going to try this syrup. We will make a new Pancake Day and add some extra love using Yandra’s Rose Syrup. What can I say? I’m addicted to love and conscious companies. In the meantime, let us know what you think about this mindful company and whether you are thinking about giving Rose Syrup a go.
