First things first:

  1. Turn the oven on to 175 degrees Celsius
  2. Use a small amount of butter to grease your bread pan

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the Light Organic Barley Flour, the Organic Gluten (produces a self-raising effect), and salt.
  2. In two separate bowls, mix the butter and the brown sugar in one, and the eggs and the mashed bananas until well blended in another.
  3. Smash the Dried Juniper berries and mix them with the banana mixture, adding the True Ceylon Cinnamon Powder (organic).
  4. Combine the banana mixture with the flour and pour it into the bread pan, adding some crunchy sunflower seeds on top for decoration.
  5. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes, but be aware that this varies from oven to over. Make the toothpick test: insert it into the center of the bread and if it comes out clean then it means it’s ready.
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes.

The star of this recipe is really the aromatic Juniper berries from Buy Whole Foods Online, which is what gives this bread a spicy twist!

    1. It’s really a meaningful gesture and I agree, it’s halfway through to stay loyal to a certain business 😊 It’s nice to find new small and local businesses that are going back to this kind of consciousness. Not everything is lost, there’s hope 😊

  1. Oh, that hand written note is such a cute thing. There is a place here, from where I order books and they do the same thing every time I order books they send me customised bookmarks and handwritten sweet notes. And I think that is the only reason I order books from there. 😀
Also the muffins had me drooling 😉
