Choose Where Your Energy Goes

Energy flows where attention goes. I don’t know who said it first, but it’s probably one of the truest sayings I ever came across, and something I want to explore in this blog post.

Over the past few weeks, I have been doing my best to keep focused on my intention to nurture a more positive outlook on life and be less of a control freak. First, I thought I wouldn’t be able to change something that became so deeply rooted. Today I see the power of intention and dedication to self-transformation.

The number one thing I shifted was my attitude towards what happens to me. I see now that I trapped myself for a very long time in victimhood. Although I blamed and tortured myself in the form of self-criticism, I rarely assumed or perceived my own responsibility in everything I attracted.

Taking responsibility for your life and yourself as a person is more than knowing when to say sorry or to recognise when you did something wrong. On top of that, taking responsibility means you refuse to be an unconscious human being and that you invest yourself in managing your energy to the very best of your ability.

The million dollar question is, however, how do we shift our energy; how do we move from the unconscious victimhood to the empowered attitude of being the creator of our own life? To achieve such state of consciousness, there are at least three essential aspects we need to train and develop in ourselves – attention, awareness, and intention.

The first two mentioned aspects are involved in any self-regulation process, which you can learn more about in my next month’s training newsletter (subscribe here for free), and they play a central role in our healing as unique individuals. The third aspect, intention, gives us direction and it allows us to make decisions that are aligned with our goal of becoming someone who has creative power over one’s own life.

I’m currently preparing my own teaching materials for a couple of classes and coaching sessions on Life-Wellbeing Management. These sessions will contemplate topics such as Energy Healing, Life Purpose, and Conscious Leadership. One of the things you can learn more about in these classes and sessions is how to effectively change from a victim mentality to being the creator of your own path. If these are subjects that are of interest to you, I invite you to follow my WordPress blog and join my private e-mail list.
